If you still remember....

Ah Mah in the Clementi House had the Redifusion set. If I didn't remember wrongly, it is very simple set with 2 switches, 1 for the volume and the other to select one of the 3 channels. It was also no-frills, the set just came with a cable and played. (I don't think need to plug in electricity).

Although Ah Mah gave up the set long ago, it is surprise to me that the 'station' is still continuing still today and will operation till 30 April 2012.

For those who cannot remember Redifusion, most of its broadcast is in dialect (including Teochew) and they normally broadcast stories and operas over the air. Because it doesn't use her electricity, Ah mah like it very much and on it all day.
